Rides

Open the Tudu app, enter your pickup and destination, choose Okada, Car Economy or Car Comfort, and confirm the fare shown. We match you with a nearby verified rider, and you can see their photo, rating and vehicle before they arrive.

Your fare is shown before you request the ride. It is based on distance, expected time, vehicle class and local conditions. It can change if you change the destination, add stops or the trip runs materially longer — and you will see any adjustment.

Every ride has a four-digit boarding code. Check your rider's photo and vehicle when they arrive, then share the code so the trip can start. Do not share it before they arrive.

Yes, where cash is available. You can also pay with mobile money. The payment options for your trip are shown before you confirm.

Yes. You can share a live tracking link so someone you trust can follow your route in a browser without installing the app.

Orders and delivery

Open the Tudu app, enter your delivery address, browse stores near you, add items to your cart, and check out. Your order is assigned to a rider once the store confirms it.

You can track your order in real time on the map in the app. You can also contact your rider through the app if you need to share directions.

Open the order in the app and report the issue within 48 hours. Our support team will review it and issue a refund or credit where appropriate.

Riders use Ghana Post GPS and landmarks to navigate. They can contact you through the app if they need help finding the exact spot.

Alcohol and some medicines are age-restricted and may require identification. Medicines may require a prescription or pharmacist approval in line with Ghanaian law. Tudu does not provide medical advice.

Sending parcels

Documents, phones and small electronics, clothing, shopping bags, sealed food packs and bulky items up to 25 kg. Items must be lawful, securely packed and within the size limits shown in the app.

Small parcels can weigh up to 5 kg, medium parcels up to 10 kg, and large parcels up to 25 kg. Choose the size that fits your item. A rider may refuse a parcel that is over the limit or not packed safely.

Parcels can travel up to 50 km from the pickup point. Enter both addresses in the app and we will confirm whether the trip is within range before you book.

You can follow the parcel live in the app. You can also share a tracking link with the recipient so they can see the rider approaching without installing the app.

You cannot send anything illegal, dangerous, stolen or prohibited by law — including weapons, hazardous materials and live animals. See the prohibited items section of our Terms of Service for the full list.

Payments and refunds

We accept MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash, AT Money, and cash for rides and deliveries where available. The methods available to you are shown before you confirm.

Yes. A service fee of 10% of the basket value applies to food, grocery and pharmacy orders, unless a different rate is shown at checkout. It is separate from the delivery fee and is shown before you pay.

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Mobile money refunds are usually faster, but timing depends on the provider. Delivery issues must be reported within 48 hours.

A fare can change if you change your destination, add stops, keep the rider waiting beyond the free waiting period shown in the app, or the trip otherwise changes materially. The app shows any adjustment.

For riders

Tap 'Become a rider' in the header and complete the application form. Our team will contact you with the next steps, including document verification and onboarding.

You need a smartphone, a roadworthy vehicle, the right to work in Ghana, and the documents that apply to your vehicle class. Passenger riders must be at least 21 and hold a valid DVLA commercial rider's licence, a Ghana Card, proof of union membership, a medical certificate, vehicle registration, two helmets, two mirrors and reflective clothing. The Rider App shows the current checklist.

Your earnings are credited to your in-app Wallet and can be withdrawn to mobile money or a bank account, subject to the minimums and processing times shown in the app. Where a customer pays cash, you collect the fare and settle any platform share owed.

Some ride classes use a daily access pass, while others use a per-trip commission. The model and amount that apply to you are shown in the Rider App before you accept work. Where a pass applies, it covers one calendar day in Ghana time and is paid in advance by mobile money.

For partners

Tap 'Partner with Tudu' and submit your details. Our partnerships team will reach out to onboard you, verify your business and help you set up your listings or fleet.

We charge a commission on completed orders. There are no upfront fees or monthly charges to list. Rates and payout schedules are shared during onboarding and shown in the Partner Portal.

You must be a legally registered business and hold the licences and permits that apply to your products — including food safety, pharmacy, health and alcohol licences where relevant. Our team will guide you through the requirements.

Partners are paid weekly via bank transfer or mobile money, with a statement of orders, commissions and any adjustments.
