Terms of Service

Welcome to Tudu! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Tudu marketplace website and mobile application (collectively, the “Platform”). By creating an account or using Tudu, you agree to these terms.

Note: Tudu acts as an intermediary platform connecting Buyers and Sellers. We provide the technology and the Escrow service to ensure safety, but we are not the direct seller of the items listed unless explicitly stated.

1. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the payment and selling features of Tudu.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • Sellers must provide accurate identity verification documents (KYC) to receive payouts.

2. Tudu Escrow & Payments

To protect both parties, Tudu utilizes a mandatory Escrow system for all transactions:

A. Buyer Protection

When you pay for an item, Tudu holds the funds in a secure vault. The money is not released to the seller immediately.

B. Delivery & Inspection

Upon delivery, the Buyer has a designated inspection window (usually 24-48 hours) to confirm the item matches the video description.

C. Payouts & Refunds

Funds are released to the Seller only after Buyer confirmation or if the inspection window lapses without a dispute. If the item is defective, the Buyer is entitled to a refund according to our Dispute Policy.

3. Content Guidelines

Tudu is a video-first platform. By uploading content, you grant Tudu a license to display it. You explicitly agree NOT to post:

  • Misleading videos that do not accurately represent the product.
  • Counterfeit or illegal goods.
  • Content that contains hate speech, nudity, or violence.
  • Copyrighted music or material you do not own the rights to.

4. Seller Obligations

Sellers must ship items within the timeframe specified in the app. Failure to ship promptly may result in transaction cancellation and penalties. Sellers are responsible for ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.

5. Platform Fees

Tudu charges a transaction fee (commission) on successful sales to cover payment processing and platform maintenance. This fee is deducted from the payout released to the Seller. Current fee structures are available in the Seller Dashboard.

6. Limitation of Liability

Tudu is provided “as is.” While we strive to ensure safety, we are not liable for disputes arising from off-platform transactions. Always keep your payments and communication within the Tudu app to remain protected.
